New promo art for James Gunn’s Superman hints that the Justice League’s headquarters may be part of the film.
Superman will be released in United States theaters in less than a month from DC Studios and Warner Bros. Pictures. Written and directed by Gunn, the DCU movie stars David Corenswet as the titular superhero, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
What does the new Superman promo art look like?
Shared on X by @TaurooAldebaran, new “stained-glass style” Superman promo art has now been revealed. The artwork features a number of locations that will presumably be featured in the DCU movie, one of which is notably the Hall of Justice.
In DC Comics, the Hall of Justice serves as the headquarters for the Justice League, thus suggesting that Superman could begin to see the formation of the iconic superhero team. While it’s possible that the Hall of Justice is being used by the Justice Gang — Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Mister Terrific — at this point in time, it at least seems like Superman will put some of the first pieces in motion for a potential Justice League project further down the line.
The cast of Superman further includes Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Sara Sampaio as Eve Eschmacher, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer, and Alan Tudyk as the voice of Superman Robot #4, among others.
Superman finally hits theaters and IMAX on July 11, 2025.
